Hey look, a progression... well not kill, but hey, we saved Valithria Dreamwalker in Icecrown 25. We got used to the target switching and the priority lists and everyone did a great job! I think there was 2 Lay Waste ticks at the most at one point. (And wtf Stag did like 35k HPS) More progression to come!

Although it wasn't scheduled and I actually said we probably weren't doing it, we decided that on Saturday, due to a not very good raiding turnout, to go give Algalon in Ulduar-10 some tries. (We only had 12 available to raid!) He is considered a hard-mode only boss and Blizzard has said that Algalon feeds on your tears.
We defeated him within the hour time limit. We are the third alliance guild on the server to defeat him, and the fifth guild overall. It is still rather impressive on this server, even if it is months old. (And we weren't exactly rushing to get any server firsts on him and I think this was the third time we have tried. The second time we tried we didn't really bring a well-balanced raid to it.) I think he is farmable, and we can get more people their Starcaller titles at some point. It is a rare title still, even if the fight is not as demanding as it once was. Not to say it isn't demanding, there is still a ton of damage output on the entire raid (especially on the tanks) and there is an hour time limit. Our DPS is so high now we only had to deal with 2 Big Bangs (almost one) so that is helpful, but our DPS is so high that we were also killing too many Collapsing Stars which was causing problems. Cauchy went slower on DPSing the stars, we tried to stay out of the Cosmic Smashes, we survived the Big Bangs, and we showed Algalon the tenacity of Azeroth.

| Well, We Are Bloodforged, After All. |
On Tuesday, a day where we usually do not do 25-mans, we decided to try to build a 25-man raid. We didn't have 25 at first but slowly over the course of the night we had 25 Bloodforged members in the raid. Even without a few folks, we one-shot every boss in the Lower Spire. After getting 25, we then cleared Frost Wing trash and defeated the mini-boss, Svalna, easily for an additional frost emblem. It was getting late but we decided to clear Blood Wing trash and at least get some attempts on the Blood Princes. We have never attempted them in 25-man mode. After clearing the trash, Guran went over the fight and we assigned members to their roles. We then realized we probably wouldn't have many attempts due to the time. Well, at the very least, we figured we'd get some practice on the fight.
Instead, the Blood Prince Council was defeated on the first attempt ever in 25-man. (Daine accidentally aggroing them, dying, and resetting them instantly doesn't count!)

Last Friday, on the second attempt of the night, Bloodforged stood victorious over the corpse of Festergut in 25-man Icecrown Citadel. We got Rotface to around (or under) 20% multiple times. He will die soon too. Progression will continue and hopefully more bosses will drop before the Icecrown buffs come into play. We're still making progress even against difficult bosses with somewhat lackluster attendance at times. We'll rebuild further and eventually tear down the Frozen Throne itself. Congratulations!
