The King is Dead; Long Live the King

In the long hours of a Saturday night and wee hours of Sunday morning a group of intrepid Bloodforged members set off to save Azeroth from the clutches of the Lich King. It was not the first time the band had set off to face this foe but they had vowed it would be the last. Many of them had spent several nights learning how to dance with the Lich King. They knew where to drop off the Necrotic Plague, how to stun the Val'kyr, avoid the Defiles, kite the Vile Spirits, and release the tormented soul of Terenas Menethil. On the third attempt it all clicked only to have Arthas slay them all just as they were about to end his reign. And then Terenas resurrected all but the pets so that they might end his son's suffering.

It was an epic experience and some have said it was on par with our first kill of Lady Vashj. Now we can move into ICC 10 on heroic mode.

Aenora, Cauchy, Galise, Khaia, Kilim, Kressara, Pitchifus, Ryuonatomay, Sinnafay and Zhr were there for the kill, but they couldn't have done it without all the others that participated in the many attempts and helped learn the fight, Alamexia, Gizmodo, Rhanetanahhn and Saali.  We'd also like to thank the entire guild for their support.  There was literally zero drama from the guild when it came down to who was getting to go to the fight and who was not.  This means a lot to the leadership.  Thank You.

Congratulations.
